the story behind blue house yoga
Begins right here

Let me start by introducing myself and explaining the 'why' behind my decision to re-brand my yoga business.

Hi, my name is Laura

Hi there, my name is Laura

'Blue House Yoga' serves as a heartfelt tribute to our enduring friendship and represents the spirit of love and dedication that Blue, my dog embodies.

I’ve been teaching yoga for almost two years. However, my personal journey with yoga began 15 years ago, and I’ve been dedicated to daily practice ever since. With just the very rare occasional break! (hey, I’m only human.)

Yoga IS my way of life.

The inspiration for the name ‘Blue House Yoga’ comes from the deep and cherished bond between myself and my loving companion and best friend, Blue.

Blue is my wonderful, loyal dog who has been by my side from the tender age of 8 weeks old. He has accompanied my life’s journey every step of the way for the last 15 years! He is the unwavering presence in my life.

Blue has been there for the good times - and the not-so-good. The joys and celebrations, the sadness and grief. Blue is my rock, my soul mate. It is in his honour that my yoga club will bear his name.

"During the re-branding of my business and website, sadly, Blue passed away. This heartbreaking loss adds an even deeper meaning to the new business name, making it more poignant than ever".

P.s - The inspiration for House is simply our family name - Our surname xxx

I would like to welcome you all, to my joyful and rejuvenating yoga classes! Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a beginner taking your first steps on the mat, I will be thrilled to guide you on this transformative journey.

In my classes, we will explore the beautiful union of mind, body, and spirit through a variety of yoga styles and techniques. From gentle flows that nourish the soul to dynamic sequences that energise the body, there really is something for everyone.

To all my Yogi Friends
Let's breathe deeply together as we embrace the joy of movement and find balance both on and off the mat.
